Beginner guitar - Jamorama

Learn Guitar Online Review

There are a host of great - and probably some not so great - online guitar tutorials. However, the one I always come back to recommending first (and which is also being preferred by many others), is Jamorama.

Why? First of all the price is fantastic - actually I dare say way too low. So if you're on a budget, just starting out, or simply wants to test the waters - this is perfect!

It is constantly updated, now being a cutting edge, complete, multi-media learning system. Ebooks, videos (multi-angle), software, graphics, games, jam-tracks - the whole shebang. At present there are 148 step-by-step video lessons and 26 of these cool jam tracks.

It's all very user friendly and structured. Want to learn real songs, not just boring scales and exercises? Look no further - this beginner guitar online host of tools helps you with that.

And it's not just for beginners - the intermediate player is well catered for too. Did I forget to mention you can download a program to your PC so that you can learn guitar offline too? I believe I did.

Do I use this myself? Absolutely! Not every day of course; after all I have been a string-bender for close to 40 years.

Anything negative to say about learning to play online (or offline) wit Jamorama? Perhaps the only thing I can find is the lack of more advanced stuff, plus maybe some more lead stuff. Be advised though, you do absolutely want to learn the all important basics first then the more advanced stuff. Oh, and you will need to learn how to play songs! And for this Jamorama is just the perfect set of tools.
